About Us
What is a school counselor?
School counselors work with students, school staff, families, and members of the community as an integral part of the education program. They do several things:
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in support groups
- Provide education and support services to parents
- Provide consultation services to teachers
- Facilitate referrals to community support services
- Advise students on academic planning
- Provide career guidance to students
- Develop/implement guidance curriculum relevant to the issues of today's students

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. It is our vision that all students have the support they need in order to achieve their highest potential.
